Dhruva College of Design & Graduate Studies came alive with color, rhythm and devotion during the celebration of Ganesh Nimajjanam 2025. Students and faculty filled the campus with joy, music and the vibrant spirit of togetherness. They honored and bid farewell to Lord Ganesha.

Tradition Meets Talent

At Dhruva College of Design & Graduate Studies, every celebration becomes a creative expression. For Ganesh Nimajjanam, students design eco-friendly idols, decorated spaces with cultural flair and wore traditional attire that added color and character to the day.

The event began with aarti and sacred rituals, where everyone gathered to seek Lord Ganesha blessings. The sound of dhols, the clapping of hands and the chanting of mantras turned the campus into a celebration of both faith and artistry.

Coming Together as One

Students, faculty and staff joined hands to lead the procession across campus, dancing to energetic beats and echoing chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya”. The energy was infectious. Every smile, every step and every beat of the drum reflected the unity and enthusiasm that define Dhruva College of Design & Graduate Studies spirit.

As the idol made its way to the immersion point, emotions ran high. We didn’t say goodbye to Bappa, we celebrated the strength, creativity and community he inspired.

Designing with Devotion

True to Dhruva College of Design & Graduate Studies identity, the celebration went beyond rituals. Students expressed devotion through their designs crafting idols, stage decor, posters and installations that told stories of tradition in a modern voice.

The event allowed students to explore how culture and creativity can coexist, turning spiritual moments into meaningful design experiences.

Thank You, Bappa

As we immersed the idol and watched it drift into the waters, we carried Lord Ganesha’s blessings into a new chapter of learning and growth. His presence reminded us of the power of unity, the importance of creativity and the joy of shared purpose. Dhruva College of Design & Graduate Studies thank Bappa for another year of love, learning and togetherness. We can’t wait to welcome him back next year with even more passion and creativity.
