Introduction:

Divya is a gold medallist and University topper in UG Program. Having specialized in Textile design she has worked with various textile industries and handloom sectors of India. She has been working as a guest faculty member and external jury member at NIFT, Hyderabad since 2017. She comes with extensive knowledge in the field of dyeing, printing, ornamentation on fabric and weaving with deep knowledge about art and design. Divya holds a master’s degree from Viswa Bharathi University at Santiniketan, a renowned institution founded by Rabindranath Tagore himself. Her experience includes working with sustainable eco-friendly fabrics and Vegetable dyes and has experience of working on handloom and frame loom.
