‘BFT / Bachelor of Fashion Technology’ is a three years Fashion Design  program which is carefully crafted keeping Industry readiness & Market sensibilities in mind. This program integrates technology, merchandising, and marketing into the traditional fashion design curriculum, creating a unique learning experience that prepares students for the dynamic and evolving fashion industry.

In the first year, students are introduced to the fundamentals of Fashion Design, including Textiles, Pattern Making, and Garment Construction. They also learn about Fashion Illustration and the History & Culture of Fashion.

In the second year, students build upon their foundational knowledge by studying advanced Fashion Design subjects along with Styling, Photography, Marketing & Advertising. Along with Fashion Forecasting, Trend Analysis & Digital Design for fashion.

In the third year, students delve deeper into the design, covering areas such as Surface Embellishments, Costume Design & Draping besides Retailing, Branding, Production & Costing on Business & Technology side of the fashion industry. They also gain hands on experience through an internship in the industry to conclude with.

Throughout the program, students have the opportunity to select from numerous elective courses in areas such as fashion technology and innovation. Thus, these electives provide students with specialized knowledge and skills that can help them stand out in the job market.
